What is Steganography?

Steganography word comes from the Greek word. The word means that covered writing. In Dictionary Steganography means Hiding of a message in an image.

What is QuickStego?

QuickStego Applications is fully based on Steganography. QuickStego hides text/Messages in pictures so that only receiver can read this secret hidden messages, not others. Once your text is hidden in images then it will save the picture. The saved images look like prev images, but the difference is that this newly saved image contain hidden text and prev image not. The image can also be saved on emailed, uploaded to the web. If you want to hide more text in an image, then take a larger image. Larger the image, the more text can be hidden. The size of the Hidden text image will be more than the original image.

How to Hide Text/Message in an Image?

To Hide text/messages follow some steps given below

1. Download QuickStego Application from this link given below

2. Run the QuickStego Application.

3. Open QuickStego app.

4. Click on the Open Image and select images, now Write text or edit text and click on the Hide Text to hide the text in an image.

5. If you want to open text.file from another folder then you can also do that by clicking Open Text and edit and save them also.

6. Save the image by clicking Save Image.

The image can also be saved on emailed, uploaded to the web. The size of the Hidden text image will be more than the original image. Like Original image 2 MB and Hidden text image 3 MB ).

Features of QuickStego

If you are going over the limit per image, QuickStego will give notifications and tell you how many characters of text you are loosing.
